Team Members

In 2012, I will be joined by award winning documentary filmmaker, Allan Smith, who owns DreamQuest Productions, Inc. Allan will be filming the expedition from both sides of the mountain and will use his photos and video footage up to the Base Camps and my photos and video footage above Base Camp. He will then prepare a documentary titled “8 Summits: The Bill Burke Story.” The website of his production company can be found in the Links section of my website. I am very pleased and excited that my good friend, Bud Allen, from Columbus, Georgia, will be joining me for the South side climb. Bud and I climbed Aconcagua together, and he was with me in the 2009 Everest expedition when I summited. Bud came very close to reaching the Balcony that year (27,700 feet) before he had to turn around because of an equipment malfunction. His website is listed in the Links section of my website.
